These 1:1 sessions are body-centered, and designed to increase the connection between mind and soma. Typical meetings involve some combination of conversation, somatic movement practices, breath techniques, restorative yoga postures, and self-inquiry journaling. Somatic therapy may meet the needs of individuals experiencing or, who have a history, of trauma. In addition, those with auto-immune diagnoses may find some relief from these practices.
