This module discusses relevant Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology theories to the Embodiment Path. These include Phenomenology, embodied cognition, understanding of somatic markers, and embodied affectivity.

This module explores appropriate yoga psychology and philosophy including: the Kleshas, Kosha systems (Vedic and Tantric), the 8-limbed model of yoga, and other relevant concepts necessary for the understanding of the Embodiment Path.
Module 3:
This module serves as an important foundational stage for understanding the development of relationships (with the self, others, and objects). In addition, it begins to marry the idea of the first two modules so there is a clarification of the role of somatic psychology as a critical piece of the Path.
Module 4:
This module introduces common somatic practices that are used on the Embodiment Path. In addition, breathwork (specifically resourcing breath techniques) are a cornerstone of this module. This module is primarily experiential
Module 5:
The information in Modules 1 and 3 allow for a sound foundation on which to investigate the role of movement in healing. Movement-based Embodied Contemplative Practices are defined and discussed, as is the concept of stillness as movement. Restorative yoga postures are utilized as the primary mode of movement; however, other movement options are explored. This module is primarily experiential.
Module 6:
This module draws on the recent research of the salient role of spirituality in creating a meaningful life. This is explored through nature-based practices and concepts.
